Privacy notice
How PeopleForward collects, uses and protects personal information about candidates, clients and visitors to this website.
Who we are
PeopleForward Recruitment Ltd (“PeopleForward”, “we”, “us”) is an employment business and employment agency registered in England (company number 09876543). We are the controller of the personal information described in this notice.
If you have any questions, contact our Data Protection Officer at privacy@envato.com or write to us at 3 Park Square East, Leeds LS1 2NE.
Information we collect
When you register with us or apply for a job, we collect your contact details, CV, work history, qualifications, right-to-work documents and references.
When you work through us, we also process payroll, timesheet, bank and tax information. For some roles we carry out background checks such as DBS checks, with your consent where the law requires it.
For clients, we hold the business contact details of the people we work with.
How we use your information
We use your information to find you suitable work, to introduce you to employers, to pay you, to meet our legal obligations and, where you agree, to send you job alerts and news.
We only share your details with a prospective employer after we have discussed the role with you.
Lawful bases
We rely on contract, legal obligation and our legitimate interests in providing recruitment services. Where we rely on consent — for example, for marketing — you can withdraw it at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep candidate records for two years after our last meaningful contact, and payroll records for six years after the end of the tax year to which they relate, unless the law requires otherwise.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to certain uses or ask us to restrict processing. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Cookie policy
Which cookies this website uses, why, and how you can control them.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work and tell us how it is used.
Cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies keep the site secure and remember your choices, such as your cookie settings and the light or dark theme. They cannot be switched off.
Analytics cookies count visits anonymously, so we can see which pages help people most. We only set them if you agree.
Marketing cookies let us show you job adverts on other sites that match the roles you looked at. We only set them if you agree.
Managing cookies
You can change your choices at any time from Cookie settings at the foot of every page, or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
Changes to this policy
We review this policy when we change the cookies we use. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
Website terms of use
The terms that apply when you use the PeopleForward website and our online services.
About these terms
These terms apply to your use of envato.com. By using the site you agree to them. Separate terms of business apply to our recruitment services for clients and to temporary workers.
Using the site
You may use the site to search for jobs, register with us and find out about our services. You must not misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access or upload anything harmful.
Job adverts
We take care to keep job adverts accurate and up to date, but roles may be filled or changed at short notice. An advert is not an offer of employment.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for the accuracy of the information you give us.
Liability
We provide the site as it is and cannot guarantee it will always be available or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
Accessibility statement
Our commitment to making this website usable by as many people as possible.
Our aim
We want everyone to be able to find work and staff through our website, whatever their device, ability or assistive technology. We design to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What you can expect
You should be able to navigate the whole site using a keyboard, zoom up to 400% without losing content, use a screen reader, and change colours and fonts in your browser.
Every form field has a visible label, and motion is reduced when your device asks for it.
Known limitations
Some older PDF documents may not be fully accessible. Tell us if you need one in a different format and we will provide it.
Feedback and contact
If you find a problem or need information in another format, email accessibility@envato.com or call 0113 496 0123. We aim to reply within five working days.
Modern slavery statement
The steps PeopleForward takes to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains.
Our business
PeopleForward provides temporary and permanent workers across logistics, healthcare, office, hospitality, construction and technology. Because we place people into work, we take our responsibility to protect them seriously.
Our policies
We never charge workers fees for finding them work, we pay at least the National Living Wage, and we check that every worker controls their own identity documents and bank account.
Due diligence
Our compliance team checks for warning signs such as shared bank accounts or addresses, and we carry out audits of the clients and suppliers we work with.
Training
Every consultant completes modern slavery awareness training when they join and every year after that.
Reporting concerns
Anyone can raise a concern confidentially by emailing speakup@envato.com. This statement is approved by the board and reviewed every year.
