Temporary cover for tomorrow’s shift, a permanent team leader, or 300 people for peak — one partner, one point of contact.

Every candidate has an interview, right-to-work and identity checks and references. Sector-specific checks, such as DBS or CSCS, are added where the role needs them, and every placement starts with a site induction.

Long-form text

Articles and legal pages set their text in .prose, which spaces paragraphs, headings and lists.

From the article “How to write a CV that gets past the first ten seconds”

prose

Hiring managers often decide whether to keep reading a CV within seconds. That doesn’t mean you need a fancy design — it means the right information has to be easy to find.

Start with a short profile

Three or four lines at the top that say who you are, what you’re good at and what you’re looking for. Tailor it to the job you’re applying for.

Put your most recent experience first

List your jobs in reverse order, with dates, your job title and the employer. Under each, add three or four bullet points that describe what you achieved — not just what you were responsible for.

  • Use numbers where you can: “picked 180 items an hour, 20% above target”
  • Start bullets with action words: led, trained, improved, organised
  • Leave out duties that don’t matter for the role you want

Make your skills and licences visible

Forklift licences, a CSCS card, food hygiene certificates, a driving licence, languages — give them their own section so they can be spotted at a glance.

Consultant’s tipSave your CV as a PDF named with your full name, such as “Jordan-Smith-CV.pdf”. It looks professional and keeps the layout intact.
